Patient Registration

The PVH Patient Registration Department is located at the main entrance of PVH, off Transalpine Road. Each patient, unless brought in by ambulance, must first visit the patient registration to fill out paperwork and answer some preliminary questions.
Our registration staff is committed to providing friendly and courteous care and to helping you with your needs.

What to bring
  • Insurance card(s)
  • Photo ID for safety and security purposes
  • Paperwork, if any, from your provider

When you call Penobscot Valley Hospital, a live person will be on the other end of the phone to answer your call. That patient registration staff member will be there to answer your questions, direct you to the right department, and connect you to the people you are trying to reach.

Pre-Registration Program
We now have a pre-registration process for a more patient friendly experience. Our Patient Access Specialist wil contact you to verify information prior to your upcoming visit. You can also call and pre register at (207) 794-7123. Once pre-registered, upon arrival at PVH please check in at the registration desk.
