The position assists in the supportive clinical and clerical duties as needed in the Emergency Department by performing assigned patient care activities and related non-professional services to assist nursing staff and providers, with primary focus on providing care for the personal needs and comfort of patients. PVH is seeking a full-time Physical Therapist or Physical Therapy Assistant to work at our off-site PVH Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in downtown Lincoln, Maine. This member of our PT team should be friendly, helpful, committed to solid customer service. The PT/PTA will also spend time working in our inpatient unit at the primary hospital site, which is only a few miles from the rehab center.
Physician Assistant / F.N.P.
PVH is seeking a full time Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner to help provide care to patients in our Rural Health Center. Qualified candidates demonstrate a service excellence patient focused work ethic and the ability to work as part of the practice team. Performing a variety of direct patient services; assessment, diagnosis, implementation of treatment, evaluation, and monitoring the general patient management plan for practice patients.
Medical Records Clerk (part-time)
PVH is seeking qualified candidate for part time Medical Records Clerk vacancy. Experience preferred in healthcare setting, but will consider training exceptional candidate. Position requires; processing and scanning of health information, and excellent administrative and customer service skills.
PVH is seeking a Surgical Technician to work in our Surgical Services unit, day shift 32 weekly authorized hours, plus rotating call hours. Our technicians perform a wide range of duties from direct patient care to preparing the operating room for the next surgery.
House Manager (Per Diem)
PVH is seeking a per diem House Manager. Areas of responsibility that include, but are not limited to, providing clinical and administrative support, oversee the operations of all the nurses and departments. Maine Licensed Registered Nurse with critical thinking skills, effective verbal and written communication skills. Knowledge base to include nursing assessment and skills for all age groups from neonate to geriatrics. Two years of recent progressively responsible leadership experience preferred.
