“The biggest bonus to living in Lincoln, Maine is the area itself,” says Human Resources Director David Woodbury. The region, with thousands of miles of accessible, recreational woodland and waterways, appeals to those seeking solitude and the beauty of nature, while remaining within 45 minutes of the more urban city of Bangor, which features an abundance of chain restaurants, stores, theaters, museums, and other attractions.
Lincoln, itself, hosts a number of charming shops and unique eateries with the convenience of some chain businesses. It sits just a half hour north of Maine’s flagship campus—the University of Maine in Orono, which provides NCAA championship sports and a concert hall which draws nationally known acts.
 A total of 13 lakes fill Lincoln’s 75 square miles, with Maine’s highest peak, Mount Katahdin, looming on the horizon. Every manner of wildlife can be found in our backyard, and the water runs clear. Winters are snowy, but the summer months often boast temperatures in the 80s and 90s. Maine’s border with Canada is little more than an hour away, and Quebec City is just a day’s drive. The mid-coast of Maine can be reached in two hours.
There are many reasons people stay in Lincoln. Not only is PVH a great area in which to start or continue a career, the region is a wonderful place to call home.
