Joe Grant Joins PVH
A new senior manager is providing leadership at Penobscot Valley Hospital in Lincoln. Joe Grant started as Senior Director of Ancillary Services and Business Development on September 24th. This is a new position, designed to help support and oversee a number of PVH departments, including Laboratory, Physical Therapy, Food Services, and Information Systems.
Grant learned valuable leadership skills during his four years of active duty in the U.S. Marines and spent several additional years in the reserves. He did his undergraduate work at Sonoma State University in California and received his masters in business through Husson College in Bangor, Maine.
After living in California and North Carolina, Grant returned to his home town of Mattawamkeag, Maine where he now lives with his wife, Melissa Grant, who is Radiology CT Technologist at PVH. The Grants have three children—seven year old Zachary, five year old Macy, and Brayden, who recently turned one.
Penobscot Valley Hospital’s CEO Dave Shannon says Grant has a lot of background in project management. “He brings a wide range of experience to the organization, which will be beneficial for the hospital as we plan for the future.”
