The Penobscot Valley Hospital Auxiliary will be offering its annual scholarships in 2009. Only non-traditional students are qualified for the scholarships. These are students who have been out of high school for more than one year and are pursuing degrees in healthcare-related fields. The scholarships provide money toward college tuition for adults who do not have access to other scholarship assistance.

Applications for the scholarships may be obtained now from the PVH Auxiliary by calling 794-7227 or by email at auxiliary@pvhme.org.  Applications can also be found on the hospital’s website, www.pvhme.org, by clicking on the “Volunteer” link on the left side of the home page.  The application deadline is May 29, 2009, and the forms should be mailed to:
