Penobscot Valley Hospital is offering a comprehensive American Red Cross babysitting course for young people ages 11 to 15. The class from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 will be a 2-part course covering:

· Leadership
· Safety and Safe Play
· Basic Care
· First Aid
· Rescue Breathing Skills

The price of the course is $25, and it’s being held in Conference Room A, upstairs at PVH.

Participants should each bring a bag lunch, and bottled drinks will be provided for free.
