Trick-or-Treating at PVH
Remember a time when parents didn’t have to check Halloween candy for needles and signs of tampering? Penobscot Valley Hospital is taking you back to that day in age when camel apples, cookies, and other homemade treats were the norm in every child’s trick-or-treating stash.
On Halloween, Friday, October 31, PVH is opening its main lobby for ghosts, goblins, and little vampires. Kids of all ages are invited to drop by for trick-or-treating from 4-6 p.m. All the tasty treats are being prepared by the Food Services Department in the PVH Café.
The event is being organized by the newly reformed Employee Activities Committee. “We wanted to provide a safe environment in which kids could enjoy old fashion Halloween sweets,” says Chairperson Jodi Miller. “Employees from many departments in the hospital are helping put this event together,
and we’re hoping for a great turnout."
PVH will have signs up directing people to the main lobby, which is on the back side of the hospital, passed the ambulance entrance.
